Hi, I am new to the list. I would like to know in the history of Ross county, if anyone has written about the group from Kentucky with Nathaniel Massie, to settle the town of Chillicothe? My ancestors, William and Dorcas Nicholson, and their family, went to Ross county in 1796 and I feel they were with this group. Also there was some Purcells in the group and they seemed to always live next to my William and Dorcas Nicholson. I do not know Dorcas maiden name and have wondered if it was Purcell.
