I am searching for information about my g-grandmother, Katherine Boerst/Burst, born 21 May 1845. Father possibly Jacob; mother unknown. One or both parents deceased by 1850. I am speculating as to whether or not she is the daughter of the George Burst/Borst who lived in Ross County. That Katherine is a few years younger than my Catherine. Katherine married Frederick Theodor Arbogast in April, 1869 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Ripley, Ohio. Persons associated with this woman: Valentine Roemer and his wife, Christine Linn. She was a sponsor for their daughter, Katherine's baptism in the Lutheran Church at Ripley, Ohio.
