My ancestors are WHEELER, HUDSON and HINES, the Hines are not in that cemetery. Wheeler and Hines were in Ross County around 1803 (from memory without looking it up!) About 1980 someone living in the area sent me pictures of the gravestones for my family in that cemetery. Two years ago my husband and I made our first trip to Ohio and I was so excited to be able to go to the cemetery....we both went through the cemetery twice and could not find the Wheeler graves, as we were driving out my husband noticed a huge bushy shrub probably 12-15 feet across with barely a headstone sticking out. I crawled under this and located several stones, the bush is actually rooted in Thomas Wheeler's grave and knocking the stone over. I would like to contact the church/cemetery owner to have this removed, it is destroying several graves. If we lived there we could do the work but will have to hire it done from here.
