In Septermber of 2000, I was able to get a photocopy of my great grandparents marriage record from 1831. The address is: Ross County Probate Court Paint Street Chillicothe, OH 45601 Attn.: Clerk of Archived Records At that time, the cost was $.50 per copy. Don't know if this has changed or not. Check out the Ross County, Ohio site in the USGENWEB projects. It should tell you the cost is the same or more. I don't know if the parents names will be on the information you receive. In my case, it was not. I received a copy of a handwritten pages in the registry book. Still, it was a treasure for me, even if it did not provide the additional clues I was hoping for. Gook luck.
