His name was James S. Clark and I have him as being born in Ross Co Ohio in 1805. I would like to find info on his parents. My grandmother thought his James S. father was William Malcolm Clark. I have found some other info that maybe it was William E. Clark. I tried getting a birth certificate on James S. Clark but Ross Co said the birth certificates did not go back that far. Does anyone have any ideas how I can find info on William Clark who lived in Ross Co in 1806? He may have died there but I don't have any dates or know his wife's name either. I have info on his son James S. who lived and died in Edgar Co Illinois. Thanks for any ideas. Karen
