I am so excited to find the Maddux family line. I really thought it was lost to me in the mists of time. My great-grandparents were John W. Maddux and Jennie Jones. Their daughter, Alice Maddux, was my grandmother. I don't know Alice's birthdate, however, based on the dates available to me it appears she was born c. 1886. Alice married Charles A. Evans on April 16, 1903. My mother, LaDonna Evans, was born February 6, 1904 and died November 8, 1968. Alice Maddux died on December 21, 1908, age 22, and my mother went to live with her grandmother, Jennie Jones Maddux. Jennie was age 66 at the time of the 1910 census, making her birthdate c. 1844, and around age 42 when Alice was born. I don't know if Alice had siblings. I have nothing on the Jones' line but extensive information on the Evans' line going back to 1798. If anyone out there is working on either of these family lines, please post a reply.
