Ohio between Robert McHershel NEWLAND(b 8 Oct 1844) and Paulina BRUNNEY( b 13 Aug 1853). They were mar. 2 Dec. 1871. Robert`s brother was Richard NEWLAND (m Mary J. Kepple in Ross Co. Ohio on 30 Oct. 1868). About 1877 the two brothers and their families moved to Manton, MI (Wexford Co.) A newspaper artical from Manton says ," Richard NEWLAND died 18 April 1912 at the home of his daughter, Mrs James (Sarah) BAKER. He married Mary J. KEPPLE 30 Oct. 1868 and came to Manton,Mi in 1877." In the 1910 census for Wexford Co. NEWLAND Richard Head 61 m/1-42yrs Store Oh-Oh-Oh NEWLAND Mary Wife 51 m/1-42yrs Keeping house Oh-Oh-Oh NEWLAND Pearl Grand-dau. 12 School Mich-Oh-Oh I have more info on Robert & Paulina`s family and I will look in the "Manton Area History Book to see if they have anything else on Richard and Family.
