I am looking for any information on Caleb Neil Core b 14 Dec 1836 Pike Co. or Ross Co., Ohio and died 25 Sep 1901. Caleb came with his Father Isaac Core to Iowa. Caleb returned to Ross Co., Ohio when he was twenty-one. Upon the outbreak of the Civil War, Caleb returned to iowa and enlisted with the Co., B of the Third Regiment on 20 may 1861. After the war, he came back to Ross County, OH and married Eliza M. Porter daughter of Peter Porter and Rachel Criswell in 1865 in Pik Co., OH. Eliza was born Abt 1844 in Ohio and died in Ross Co., OH 13 Sep 1883. Caleb and Eliza had 10 children Bessie d 1966 married henry Loughridge; Mary H. married Rob B. Stevenson in Marion Co., IA; Rachel Criswell; Geroge Grimes; Reuben; Infant; Lillian b abt 1867 married Will S. Stevenson; Rose b. abt. 1869 married Charles P. Jamison; Isaac Porter b 2 Aug 1872 married May Jamison; John married Grace Muse. After Eliza died Caleb married Carrie B. Houser in 1889. Caleb Core parents were Isaac Core b 1797, Maryland died 1871 Marion Co., IA and Sarah Hymes/Himes b 1807 Ohio and died 1851 Ross Co., OH.
