I am familiar with some of the McNeal family in Ross County, Ohio, but there were several different McNeal families in Ross County. Where are Henry and Elizabeth living in 1850? I can't find them in Ross County, Ohio in 1850. Jerry, Yes, I am confused by the fact that there are two Thomas McNeal´s in early Ross Co. A Thomas McNeal 1781-1826 lived in Jefferson twp. and my Thomas 1801-1877 lived in Springfield twp. Henry Harrison McNeal, b. 1826 married is elusive on the 1850 census, but I finally located him. The census pages on Ancestry.com seem to be duplicated for many pages on the 1850 census making me unsure if Henry is actually in Londenderry or Liberty twp. Census, 1850 Ross Co. OH, Londonderry twp. Dist. 131, pg. 291A October (21/24) The top of the sheet says Liberty dist. 131? The Liberty census also shows Liberty district 131. Harrison McNeal 25 M farmer OH Elizabeth McNeal 23 F OH Otho F. McNeal 2 OH Henry was b. in Springfield twp. I am unsure where Elizibeth Crider was born. For reasons unknown, they married in Scott Co. Illinois in 1847and then returned to Ross Co. OH. By 1860 they are back in Scott Co. Illinois.
