    3. Hi! I am looking for more info about my GGG Grandfather Wm Gillmore WARD. Thanks! Scott Schabacker 1. William Gillmore WARD1 was born about 13 Apr 1821 in Chilicothe, Ross Co., Ohio. He was buried in 1872 in Brooklyn, Poweshiek Co., Iowa. I.O.O.F. Cemetary, Brooklyn, Iowa. He died on 30 Jul 1872 in Brooklyn, Poweshiek Co., Iowa. Came to Iowa about 1849. Was a teacher and printer by trade. Had his own Newspaper in Bloomfield, Ia "Ward's Own" 1857-1858. Later ran "Democratic Chariton" 1862-1863. Had a publishing Co. "W.G. Ward & Co." Pioneer of Davis Co. In Troy, Wards Own was started by William G. Ward in 1857. Ward's paper had quite a reputation......"As a newspaper, a good joke" Jane Aveline FRADY1 (daughter of William FRADY and Mary "Polly" PORTER ) was born on 23 Nov 1823 in Buncombe, Co., North Carolina.2 She died between 1867 and 1870.3 Possibly in Bloomfield, Iowa. She was buried. Buried in her parents family plot in an unmarked grave. Wm & Mary FRADY were her parents, and had a plot of six lots in a cemetary in Bloomfield, Ia Just a hunch. William Gillmore WARD and Jane Aveline FRADY had the following children: +2 i. Benjamin Allen WARD. 3 ii. Mary E. WARD1 was born about 1852 in Bloomfield, Davis Co., Iowa. She died between 1871 and 1882. Possibly Bloomfield, Iowa. She was buried. Buried in the Wm. & Mary FRADY family plot in an unmarked grave. No proof of, just a hunch. Don't have any evidence of her being married. 4 iii. Cornelia Eleanor WARD1 was born on 6 Aug 1854 in Scotland Co., Missouri.4 She died on 30 Dec 1912 in York, York Co., Nebraska. Died while sitting in her chair at her brother Benjamin's home. Had a past history of Asthma. She was buried on 31 Dec 1912 in York, York Co., Nebraska. Greenwood Cemetary, York, Nebraska. Never Married. Lived in Whiiten, Hardin Co., Iowa since she was 14. Later came to live with her brother Benjamin WARD in York, Neb. in June 1911.
