Three children, Elizabeth, b1789?, John b 1797, Phillip, b 1800, other children names not known. Coons Family Genealogy Forum posting by Samuel Johnston(1999): Searching for information on the parents of Henry Coons. He married Mary Ann Howe on 2/19/1789 in Berkeley Co, VA (now WV). The family moved to Ross County OH about 1807. Some children were John, Rachael, Mary Ann, Elizabeth, Wilson, and Phillip. A short family history written by a descendant of John Coons written in 1885 states the parents of Henry Coons came from Germany. Henry died in Jackson Co, OH in 1827.
