The founding father of Frankfort, Ohio (Concord Township, Ross County) was a McNeill (I think). I'm not questioning the fact, just the spelling. A real estate broker in Frankfort, Jo Everhart, comes from this family, as does a woman named Clara Jane Roll. Both women have kids in their 50's, so they aren't young. You might want to try contacting them SOON. The RootsWitch ************************************** AOL now offers free email to everyone. The McNeal name is interchangable with McNeil, McNiel etc on many records. My McNeal ancestors had children that are recorded later as McNeil making for confusion until research verifies them. Thanks. Duane >The founding father of Frankfort, Ohio (Concord Township, Ross County) was a >McNeill (I think).
