I have some information on both families plus, I have a 173 year old Bible that belonged to Katherine KEFFER (first child of Valentine and Catharina), who married David WORK. I have been trying to find descendants of this couple. I have gotten the names of David and Katherine's(Catharine) children and one grandchild. I am hoping we can exchange some information by which I can help you and maybe you can help me. I will also be posting to the Pickaway County OH. board list with more information. The Zeiglers along with Col. Valentine were pioneers and very prominent citizens of Pickaway County in the early formation years. Valentine holding political offices, running a newspaper and sitting on a school board and both being large land owners. Some of which were given by both men to their children, if my memories are correct. I have to go into my files which, at the present are not available to me.
