    3. William My 4x great grandfather William Friend was married to Elizabeth Grimes in Jefferson Township, Ross Co., in 1806. William was supposed to be from Gallia Co. William and Elizabeth named their youngest son Elias G. Friend and family lore has it she was naming her son after her father Elias Grimes. I have not been able to get farther than that.
