Originally born in Richwood, living with his mother until he came to Delaware Co. in 1835 and purchased land. He married Matilda Nepp a native of Fairfield Co. 25 Dec. 1831 and had twelve children: Harrison, Eli, Mary J., Harriet, Isabel A., Isaiah, Elizabeth, Hannah, Matilda, Eliza, Margaret and John. His wife died 14 Jan 1854 and is buried with Charles and several children in the Thompson-Shoup cemetery. Charles apparently has a probate record: case # 5041. Any information on Charles and his parents very much appreciated.
