This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Green, Gain, Collins Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/VZB.2ACI/685 Message Board Post: I'm looking for information about John Newton Green, who was a physician who lived in Bainbridge. His wife was Ann or Anah Collins. In particular I am looking for a marriage record for their daughter Emily Green to John Gain. They married in the 1840's. As the Green family was in Bainbridge at the time of the 1840 & 1850 censues, surely Emily married John Gain in Ross Co. Also, have cemeteries been transcribed and do Dr. John Newton Green (d. 3 Jul 1875) and Ann/Anah Green (d. 25 Dec 1864) appear in the listing? Any information on this family would be appreciated. (I notice that this Ross Co. Message Board query will be "gatewayed" to the Ross Co. List. I found no marriage for Emily Green and John Gain in Ross Co. from 1798-1900 and no listing for Dr. John Green and his wife in either Huntington nor Twin Twp. Tombstone Inscriptions. ----- Original Message ----- From: <mlsopp@ix.netcom.com> To: <OHROSS-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, October 16, 2006 12:44 AM Subject: [OHROSS] Dr. John N.
