I have someone who died in Chillicothe in Sept 1911 but was buried in Piketon which is in Seal Twp., Pike County. Per death certificate, the Undertaker was Bonner Bros., 82 West Main Street - no city but I assume was Chillicothe. Does anyone know which current funeral director might be predecessor of Bonner Bros., that might have the older records? For the record, I have publication covering burials in Seal Twp., Pike County which includes Piketon but this person, nor his wife, are listed. I am trying to find out what cemetery they were buried in; evidently without stones. Just for info that may help you. Greenfield is in Highland County, not Ross, and is served by the Southern Ohio Genealogical Society, Hillsboro, Ohio. Greenfield has a small library that has quite a bit of genealogical info. Shucks folks, that is my hometown. Greenfield is actually in Highland County. Highland County was formed from Ross County in 1805. There is a lot of Ross County history there because it is on the county line. You may want to contact the Southern Ohio Genealogical Society, P.O.Box414, Hillsboro, Ohio 45133 or email SOGS414@sbcglobal.net.
