I am looking for any Whitsel or North family members in Rose County. Clarissa Ellen North was born in Ross county in the middle 1850's. She had an uncle who was a Nicholas Whitsel. There is a family photo of the two of them. It is said that they were both born in Ross county. I have had no luck finding either family member. Hi, I'm searching for information and the descendants of Daniel Chesnut and his wife, Clara A. Veail. Daniel was the brother of my gr-gr-grandfather, Samuel Chesnut. He was born in Ross County on December 30, 1837, served in the Civil War in both 73rd O.V.I., Company K and 26th O.V.I., Company B, married Clara Veail on January 10, 1867, was living in Columbus (Franklin County) in 1898 and died March 19, 1915.
