My Felix GRIMES married Susannah BRIENT/BRYON on 25 March 1821 in Ross County, Ohio. I am interested in finding out who Felix's parents were. One census record says he was born in VA. He moved to Noble Co., Indiana by the 1850 census and then to Elkhart Co., IN by the time of the 1860 census and died there prior to the 1870 census. Patricia

Richard is living in Union Twp. in the 1850 census in 1860 census Deerfield Twp. Maria has died by 1850. Michael BUSH (Maria's father) Tax list 1806 Ross Co. 1809 Tax list Concord Twp. Perhaps you can help me with my Ross County Grove Family. There was a John Greave/Grove/Grave in RichmondDale in Jefferson Twp. In 1812 who was JP and performed marriages in 1806-7-8-10. He was appointed Postmaster there in 1814 -1819. I am quite confused over the spelling of his name. It appears that all three spellings are of the same man. Also on the Census' I note that one Census year spells Grove and the next Census Year spells Grave. Which spelling do I go with? Do you know how many JP's were appointed for one Twp? To make matters worse, there is also another John Grave in the same Twp. Thanks for any help you can render. Carlie

Have a RACHEL GREEN who married WILLIAM DOWNS, Jan. 28, 1830, in Ross County. Rachel was born Sept. 15, 1811, (according to Downs family history near Wheeling, WV), and died March 2, 1892 in Tippecanoe Co., Indiana. William and Rachel came to Tippecanoe Co. in the 1840's and settled near Battle Ground (site of the Battle of Tippecanoe) in Tippecanoe twp. Need parents of Rachel. Thanks! Adina
