My mother's surname is Miller and we have a missing link. I thought maybe this Cyrus could be part of that link. Here is the info that I found. Cyrus C Miller born in 1846, in Pa died in Ohio, 17 April 1918 Parents born in Pa. Wife Eliza Sons Edward B and Ray daughter Ella Member of the Wilkesville Presbyterian church Member of the Co. D> 194th OVI Brothers Isaac W, Henderson and Jacob G Miller living brother Thomas Seton Miller died in CW Eliza Miller born in Ohio in 1844. died in Oh 5 November 1930 no marriage record found on Ancestry .com Parents born in Pa and Ireland married to Cyrus C. sons Edward Miller of Gallipolis, (1930) and Ray Miller of Illinois daughter Ella (Mrs. N. A. ) Vaughan of Adelphi she was a member of the Adelphi ME Church former school teacher Found in Census records/ancestry .com in 1910 a Cyrus R. Miller that was not mentioned in the either obit. He was born in 1881 , and 29 at the time of the census. In the 1910 census they are found in Colerain ,Ross co, OH In the obit for Eliza, it says that they moved to Adelphi 27 years ago.Which would make it 1903. Colerain a township and Adelphi a village in that township. The strange thing is that their obits appeared in the Gallipolis paper both times... 1918 and 1930. They both mention Vinton but not as a county , so I assume they meant the village. If anyone is working on this particular family could you please email me. Thank you.
