Allegany Co, MD. land record: Peter Wyckoff Lots 3689 and 3690 Lots 3689 and 3690 were patented to Jacob Winter on 14 Jan 1841 14 Jan 1841 Certificate Patent Record GGB 4, p. 665 (film # 13,138, 2nd item) Lots Nos. 3689 and 3690, 100 Acres, Peter Wycoff, formerly of Allegany County, but late of the State of Ohio (in his life time) was settled on and entitled to a preference in the purchase of lots numbered 3689 and 3690 lying in Allegany County, Westward of Fort Cumberland and each containing fifty acres for which he fully paid the purchase money for the same. That he has since departed this life intestate, leaving the following named persons his only children and heirs at law Margaret Wycoff, Mary Wycoff, Isaac Wycoff, Hannah Wycoff, Henry Wycoff, and Susannah Wycoff. That Margaret and Isaac have since died without issue, that Mary has married and has since died having and only child named Hannah.
