    3. This is a link to a wonderful site http://www.archive.org/index.php where you can search for "out of copyright" publications. If you put the term " the parish registers of England" without quotation marks and just read the first result, you will find an excellent insight into our parish registers, their history, content and extracts. Answers many questions asked of late. Have got to page 170 of the book myself so far. Do a general search "genealogy England" and you get three pages of results.... may be something there if you are researching other counties too. some of the texts have shiplists such as 1635] y PORT OF LONDON. 61 th Aprill 1635 JN the Eliza. .     3. Randi - Thanks for posting this link - I'll be taking a look. Others may be interested that Google has digitized a lot of books out of copyright, some of which may be of interest to genealogists. You can both look at them online and download them. I recently found a nice obit in an old Presbyterian magazine. See: http://books.google.com and play around with the search engine.
