I could use advice. I thought I had seen references to probate records for Nicholas Trucks (Trux) who died in 1815 in Richland Co. and for William Trucks Sr. who died in 1831. I sent to the Richland County Court of Common Pleas and they responded that there were no such records. Have I gone about this the wrong way? Are older records somewhere else?
