I have a photo of Laura (Bargahiser) Crawford/Price at: http://charocfl.tribalpages.com/tribe/browse?userid=charocfl&view=0&pid=453&rand=1022 Note that after Jackson Henry Crawford was shot on duty as Chief of Police of Findlay she remarried to a Mr. Albert Price in Ohio. I would appreciate any info on Mr. Price's line to add to my family database. Also note that Laura Bargahiser surname was also spelled as: Barga Bargaheiser Bargahizer Berkheiser Laura's portents from PA were George Washington (G W Bargahiser) & Fanny (Fannie) Coble. Also note that the Coble surname was also spelled as Koble. I am trying to verify the date that J. H. Crawford was shot while performing his duties at work. I believe it to be Apr 09 1923 & my mom said he was actually shot at work or at his office. I would like to know if there is any place or person to contact to get a copy of the obit for Jack H. Crawford who was the Police chief of the Findley Ohio at the time of his death. Also in the photo are (from L-R): Harry Stark clerk in the water works office; Russell Morrison, police court clerk; John Kramer, chief of police; (NOTE: J H Crawford is listed as Jack Crawford, policeman; Will Heck, city auditor and Clark Edie, city clerk. The children are listed as unknown but my grand father Verl B. Crawford would have been about 12 years at the time of the photo & I know Aunt Myrtle (Myrt) Crawford was a few years younger & was short when she died. Note Myrtle or Myrt Crawford married a Mr. Binder & moved to Toledo OH where she became a chiropractor. I have found several different links with this same data. But I have not been able to confirm the data that Ann Johnson posted indicating that Patrick Henry Crawford for Tipperary, Ireland was baptism in 1842 in Tipperary, Ireland and married to Margaret Downs she was also born in Ireland. Note that Jackson Henry Crawford was born on May 27 1865 in PA, USA but that is all the PA data I have on him. Patrick H. Crawford & Margaret Downs 9 children were: Helen M F & which I believe to possibly be Mike F or Michael F.
