Spring, b. Sept. 1845 OH, he died Kinsley, Edwards Co. KS in 1905. In various census's, he states his father was b. either NY or VT or OH...........states his mother was b. OH. In March 1871 he married Margaret Snyder, daughter of John Snyder and Elizabeth Magner of Shelby, Richland Co. OH. Children were: Oliver b. Oct. 1871, Shelby, Richland Co. OH, married Myra Ellen Whitehurst in 1901 in Wellington, Sumner Co. KS Alva b. May 1874, Shelby, Richland Co. OH, married Emma Moyer in Bourbon Co. KS, he later lived in LaMoure & Stutsman Co's ND, and also was married to Agatha Hazeltine Perry Augusta b. March 1877, Vernon, Crawford Co. OH William Newton, b. January 1879, Vernon, Crawford Co. OH In the 1930 Edwards Co. KS census, there is also a Frank Spring b. 1852 NY, parents b. MA and a Frank Spring Jr. b. 1881 KS. Frank could be a brother to David A. Spring, but I can't prove it. There is also a David Spring b. April 1824 OH and his wife Mary b. OH, who live in Woodson Co. KS in 1900 census.
