    1. [OHRICHLA] My research if I suddenly died
    2. Dear Lais, I found this on another list and found it very interesting and really hadn't thought about what would happen to all my research if I suddenly died. Has anyone else on this list thought about it? Peggy Price Has there been any discussion of what should happen to a > person/genealogist's files and books collected over the years when they > die and no one in the family is interested in genealogy or realize the > value of the records collected?

    3. I run some genealogy websites, thought I was getting the word out for people to use. The Historian at the Orange County Gen / Hist Society in N.Y. made the point that not all people have computers, not all web sites will last indefinitely. We should all make sure that the relevant info (preferably indexed) has been deposited at a Society servicing the areas, so their library structure will keep it easily locatable (geographically) and for the future. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Thursday, December 11, 2003 9:16 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [OHRICHLA] My research if I suddenly died Dear Lais, I found this on another list and found it very interesting and really hadn't thought about what would happen to all my research if I suddenly died.
