The 1920 census has a listing in Mansfield, Richland County, Ohio, for James Van Scoy, head, age 40, telephone lineman Anna Van Scoy, wife, age 33 Dolly Van Scoy, daughter, age 9 William KINDLE, father-in-law, age 65 (All four of these and both parents of each were born in Ohio.) I'm descended from the Van Scoy family who lived in Butler Township, Richland County, and just across the county line in Greenwich Township, Huron County, but don't recognize this family.
