I am interested in any information about Crozier families that lived in or near Shiloh, Richland Co, OH starting about 1840. In particular, I am interested in the family with mother, Abigail (Abby, Abbie), and children, Samuel, James, Elizabeth, and Mary. However, information about other families may be useful. My objective is determining the parents of Samuel Crozier, reportedly born 24 Dec 1842 in Shiloh, Richland Co, OH. I have Crozier's in my Backensto family Tree. William Crozier born in 1826 came to Richland Co from Juanita PA. He was married to Eveline Shamp of Wayne Co Ohio. They had 11 children 6 of whom died young. The remaining children were Charles, Albert, Mary, Annie and Emma who married John E. Backensto,The latter lived in Bloominggrove Twp. Richalnd Co Ohio.
