I am looking for info on REA families in Richland County, especially any who migrated there from Franklin County, Cumberland County or Bedford County, Pennsylvania. Gary Rea

I am in the middle of unpacking from moving, but I found this in an email I wrote several years ago. I think this was in a Richland County History that I will find once I finished unpacking. I've been trying to find out more about my Ferguson's before they were in Richland County. According to a history I found, he (William Ferguson, my 3rd great grandfather) was born in Cumberland County in 1807 or 1808 and moved to Ohio with Jacob Williams, Joseph Friend and William Rea. William Ferguson married Jane WILSON and had 9 children. Elizabeth married Daniel HERRING, a son William, Ann married Frederick HERRING Jane married Abraham DISBRO (my gggrandparents), Joseph, John and Polly married who married Phillip BERRY At this point the other 2 are unknown. William died in 1849.
