Hello Sandy, I am wondering if you have any info on your Leggett/Liggett families arrival in America. Did they arrive in the 1800's or were they here in colonial times? My ggggrandfather, Richard Bowles, sold his land to the Leggett family in New London, Huron Co in the late 1800's where they opened a tile/brick making buisiness. Are these your ancestors? So the reason I am wondering about there arrival time is to see if these two families were aquainted before coming to America or after.
