    3. I think we share a common problem, that is we both have TRUCKS in the family, but they were in that era when a lot of information went unrecorded or lost. Mine was Susannah Trucks, wife of Thomas McCluer. I speculate that she was the daughter of one of William Trucks Sr. marriages, but I have no proof. ----- Original Message ----- From: Chamberlins To: ohrichla@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [OHRICHLA] TRUCKS, BOWERS , Native American Date: Sat, 16 Jun 2007 10:42:50 -0500 These would likely be in Blooming Grove and Plymouth townships and across the line in Huron County. The Trucks may or may not have stopped in Knox County. The appear in the 1810-1820 time frame and leave by 1840. My Bowers great great grandmother was partly Native American (by family history, obituary and her mother's census records) and her mother Mary Ann seems to have had Trucks as a last name (Huron County Marriage Record) and was born in 1814. So I may be dealing with an unrecorded set of events from the War of 1812 period. Trucks may be Trux or other forms, and Bowers is sometimes Bower Bauer or Bauers. My Bowers is Silas, sone of Silas and Marvell, brother of Clarissa. ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to OHRICHLA-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message -- Get a Free E-mail Account at Mail.com!
