My g-g-grandfather was James A. Rea, born in 1827, supposedly in Cumberland County, but I now have reason to believe he was born in Bedford and later loved to Cumberland for a short while before coming to Ohio. I believe he's a son of James Rea of Bedford County, PA. James A. Rea was married to Lucinda Barber in Summit County, Ohio on April 11, 1852 and they went to Oshkosh, Wisconsin, where their first child, Lela, was born in 1853. They first owned a livery stable there, at 104 Kansas Street, and later, the Empire House Hotel, at 107 Main Street. In 1870, they moved to Sparta, Wisconsin and, in 1877, to Marshall, Lyon County, Minnesota, where James died in 1894. Gary Rea
