The following from the BROOKLYN EAGLE of July 9 will be of interest to the many friends and relatives of the Sturges family in this city: Many Brooklynites will hear with feelings of deep regret of the sudden death of Mrs. Stephen Perry Stures, which took place last night at Argyle Park, Babylon, L.I. Mrs. Sturges was the wife of Mr. Stephen Perry Sturges, a well-known member of the New York bar. Mrs. Sturges was the center of a circle of friends composed not alone of residents of Brooklyn, but of New York, Philadelphia and other cities, who esteemed her for her grace of manner and for many charming traits. She was a sister of Mrs. John Gibb, who is now traveling in Europe, and of Mr. Donald MacKay of the firm of Vermilye & Co. of New York. Her husband and infant four days old survive her.
