After years of searching I have finally discovered the parents of my James and Joseph Robison! Their parents were William and Elizabeth Robison, both born in PA. abt 1790 +/- 10 years. Son James was born in PA Feb 12, 1818. The family removed from Westmoreland PA to the state of OH some time before the birth of Joseph on Aug 14, 1819. I still don't know where in OH they settled (and exactly where Joseph was born), but know by 1841 both James and Joseph were in Richland Co., OH. I have not been able to locate the William Robison family in OH in either the 1820 or 1830 census, but hope to soon :-). I'm hoping someone will have information of William and Elizabeth Robison in the Westmoreland area of PA before 1818 and or the family once in OH after 1819.... Any of this sound familiar???
