    1. [OHRICHLA] Thank You Notes
    2. Hi List members, I have learned that a number of my e-mail notes to individuals are not arriving at their destinations. Also Sometimes I've had to send notes to the Rootsweb lists more than once, because the first notes have not appeared on those lists. I feel especially bad about this lost mail, because a number of you have graciously taken the time to send me information and I've learned that at least a couple had not received my thank you notes. It's upsetting because you deserve acknowledgment of my immense appreciation for your kindness and because I spent a lot of time writing those thank you notes. If some of you have not received those notes, please let me know. 2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/AYB.2ACE/467.1.1 Message Board Post: Thanks for the reply. I am interested Reuben Bumpus mostly. I know that he was born abt 1800 in NY, married Jane Wells in 1835 and Pricilla Colby in 1853. I have a list of his children starting with Frederick b. 1833, (there must have been an earlier merriage) compiled from Census records for Richland Co., OH. and Henry Co., IN. He was in Richland Co. in 1840 and moved to Henry Co., IN. in about 1856-7. What I don't know is who Reubin's father was and where he was between 1800 and 1835. I suspect he is the son of Frederick Bumpus, burried in the Marlow Graveyard in Richland Co. and in Richland Co. by 1820, but he could be the son of Reuben Bumpus b. 1760, CT., a brother of Frederick b. 1860-70, CT. and burried in Bumpville PA. and never lived in Richland Co. The brothers were both living in Albany Co., NY. in 1800. I intend to check with the LDS Family History Center in Mt Vernon WA. when I can but it is very small and almost everything has to be ordered. I would be very interested in hearing about anything you may find relating to the Richland Co., Bumpus'. Thanks again, Marlow

    3. I would like to find the death date and burial location of my 4x great-grandmother, Elizabeth Freborn VIRTUE, who died between 1830 and 1839 in Richland County. Samuel and Elizabeth VIRTUE and family appeared in Washingon Twp., Richland Co., Ohio, on the 1830 census. Samuel married Sarah JAMES in Richland Co. on 19 March 1939. Are there any cemetery, death, or newspaper indexes for that time period? Many thanks for any help or suggestions. Sydney Stephens Washougal, WA

It had EVERYTHING, including my obsure ancestor. You may have to go to a really big library to find it. If you know specifically what you are looking for, the next time I go, I will see what I can do. If you are looking for a Stephenson, I've probably seen it, as our surnames are similar, and mine is always misspelled.

Do you have a really large library or LDS history Center nearby. I don't remember exactly where I saw the references, probably in some general history somewhere. Let me know if there is something specific you are looking for, and if I can get back to the libarary, I will see what I can do.
