    2. DUANE DEVOE
    3. Duane? this is Duane! I have an on-going rearch for all Devoes that had something to do with Ohio. At this time I have no Lautern/Lauter in my files. Thios doesn't mean the name won't connect in the future. If you come across any Devoe names from the Mansfield area please let me know. I will keep looking from this end. Duane :) Duane/Rita Lamers <kglamers@yahoo.com> wrote: Can anyone provide a connection between the DeVoe family of Richland County and the family of one Margaret Loutein (Lautern, Lauter, Loudon) who married John Dittrich in 1867? I have the marriage record for this couple. People are referring me to the DeVoe family, but I do not know where to make any meaningful connection. Please note, however, that I have the important marriage record for Dittrich-Loutein. Because I have been unable to discover any parentage for Margaret Loutein (or whatever spelling), I am trying to determine wether this family name is found around Mansfield in the 1860s. If Margaret came to this country with parents and/or siblings, there is a chance all of them settled around Mansfield. Perhaps, too, if descendants are found someone might be able to provide more information about Margaret. I want to thank those who have offered help so far. You have been great in replying. 1. [OHRICHLA] Lautern (Loutein, Lauter) family
    2. Duane/Rita Lamers
    3. Margaret Loutein (name on marriage record) was married to John Dittrich (Detrich on marriage record) 18 Feb. 1867 in Mansfield. Later baptism records for their children in Missouri give Lautern as Margaret's family name and some death records for children give Loudon as her name. Nothing is know about Margaret's parents other than that her father's name allegedly was Joseph, this from a son's death record in Missouri. I am trying to determine whether any death, cemetery or other records for Richland County have surnames given as Lauter, Lautern, Loutein, or Loudon. 2. Jim Davis
    3. Dear Sunda, I saw your message about the Stoutsenbergers on the Richland County RootsWeb reading list. I'm wondering if you have easy access to Richland County, Ohio Cemetery Records. If so, I wonder if you would be so kind as to do look up for me in it. I'm interested in a DAVIS family that lived in Plymouth Township in 1880, but which I have not been able to locate after that. The family consisted of: Albert, 39; Sarah, 29; Lafayette, 9; Laura, 7; Lurenza, 5; Louisa, 4; Harry G., 3; Bertha, 1; and a son, 2 mo. If this is the family I'm looking for, the parents and possibly most of the children would have died in 1880 or shortly thereafter. Thanks in advance, Jim Davis SUNDA PETERS wrote: > Richland County, Ohio Cemetery Records indicates the following burials in Zeiters Cemetery, Franklin Twp.: > Stoutsenberger, John d 1 Oct 1850, 75-1-3, h/o Barbara > Stoutsenberger, Barbara d 12 May 1850, 79-5-28, w/o John
