Doug and anyone else interested in the Shepherd family, There is a Joseph Shepherd buried in Hawley Cemetery in Paris Township. The gravesite is unknown and there is no information such as death date. It is clear that he served in the Revolutionary War. This information comes from "Portage County Ohio Cemeteries, Vol. VIII". I do not know where he was buried or any additional information. Joseph has been my "brick wall" for some time and I hope that this new information will help to tear down that wall.
