Samuel1 Cobb was born on 25 August 1716 in Wales.1 He married Mary Hinkley.1 He married Hannah Bicknell on 11 April 1749.1 He died on 6 April 1781 at age 64.1 He was also known as Dr. Samuel Cobb.1 Emigrated to New England, where he remained for a time at Barnstable, near Cape Cod, Massachusetts. In 1743 he removed to Tolland, Connecticut, and was a celebrated physician and magistrate.1 Mary Hinkley died on 9 December 1746.1 There were no known children of Samuel1 Cobb and Mary Hinkley.
