He was born in Connecticut, married in Massachusetts to Molly KING, and may have lived in Rensselaer County, New York before Portage County. It might be that he migrated to Ohio with other New England families shortly after the War of 1812, since he was a veteran of that war. Their son, William, married Charity HIGLEY. Any help would be greatfully appreciated.
