An ancestor of mine, John Sapp, moved to Portage Co. from Maryland around 1824. He had a daughter, Susan, who married a John Boosinger in Portage Co. She, along with her siblings, was born in Maryland. I don't have dates at this time, but Susan was probably born in b/w 1810-1820. Don't know how much this helps, but if you come across any information on John & Susan Boosinger, I'd be interested. I also found a Susan Boosinger married Sept. 9, 1846 to a John Cobb in Portage Co., OH. (This may be the same Susan, perhaps John Cobb died and she married second to James Phipps).
