I am looking for any information on MINERVA GOSS who was born May 01, 1799 in Conn., and died June 03, 1859 in Portage Co., Ohio. I am looking for information on her parents and siblings. Other information that I have is that she married WILLIAM ROGERS June 28, 1817 in Portage Co., Ohio, son of RICHARD ROGERS and ELIZABETH ?. MINERVA GOSS was a navtive of Conn. and latter of Pa. Miss Minerva GOSS married William ROGERS in 1817. She is noted for her great memory. Very benevolent and ready to go in sickness. She is buried in Old Sand Hill Cemetery, Row 10, Randolph Township, Portage Co., Ohio and died at the Age 60, 1 month, 2 days Marriage Notes for MINERVA GOSS and WILLIAM ROGERS: The information on their wedding was recorded in the following: "Ohio Marriages Recorded in County Courts Through 1820: An Index........The Ohio Genealogical Society" pg. 888.
