Hi all: Just wondering if anyone might be working on the Hine family in Portage County. I have a few that I am having trouble tying in. 1. The family of Abel Hine who married Freelove Finley and their children. Abel and Freelove were married in Canfield, Mahoning County, but they are buried at Hillside Cemetery in Shalersville, Portage, Ohio. 2. The parents of Ira Hine who was the cashier at the First National Bank in Mantua. I can't figure out who his parents are. 3. The family of Fred Hine born 12/20/1821 and died 3/8/1887. He married on 9/3/1846 to Sally Ann Ledyard (9/16/1823 - 12/24/1876) They are buried in Charlestown Cemetery, Portage County, Ohio. I have the names and dates of people buried around them at Charlestown, but can't come up with the relationships. If anyone might be researching the Hines, or maybe the Finley's and Ledyards, could you contact me. I'd love to figure this out and would be happy to share whatever information I have with you.
