    1. [OHPORTAG] Ravenna city directory, published 1888, lookups offered

    3. Hey gang. I recently acquired a copy of the 1888 Cleveland area Blue Book on CD. It is a city directory featuring several different cities in northeast Ohio. Among them, it features Ravenna. Ravenna is the only city in Portage county that is featured on this CD. I bought it hoping to find some of my family, but I haven't found any of them in there. It is not a complete city directory (since none of my family is there), but it does have many of the families living in Ravenna in 1888. It appears to give the head of the family, the wife and any children living there. It also gives the street they were living on. This could be helpful since the 1890 census was destroyed. This was published just two years before the census. I'm offering to do some look ups if anyone is interested. Brian P.S. I just changed my email address-- I used to be SpruceGuy@aol.com. I am now RhinehartRoots@yahoo.com. --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? Get better spam protection with Yahoo! Mail

    3. Brian, Thank you for your kind offer. Are there any people by the names of Riedinger, Winkler, or Rose?
