Hi Karen, My guess, and it's only a guess, is that it was a little Irish settlement, like Little Ireland (later called Metz) in Summit County. (Metz was in the area of Hudson Drive and MacCauley Road, near O'Brien Cemetery in Hudson Twp.) Railroad construction workers who stayed, maybe.
