    3. Hello Folks, I'm new to this website so I will need a lot of assistance from whomever is willing to help me. Here is my dilemma: One of my ancestors, who is best known as JAMES BROWNLEE SHERWOOD(1863-1937), is the son of GENERAL ISAAC R. SHERWOOD(1835-1925, Toledo, Ohio), and KATE BROWNLEE SHERWOOD (1841-1914, Toledo, Ohio). Both the General and Kate were very prominent figures in the history of Ohio. JAMES was born in Bryan,Ohio and schooled in Poland. He worked with his father in the newspaper publishing business most of his life. The areas of work, consisted of Canton, Cleveland and Ravenna, Ohio, the latter being his last place of work before retiring. This is where he made his home. James was working in Cleveland, Ohio, for the American Sportsman Magazine, where he met and married his wife, ANNA PEACE, Nov. 22, 1899. They later moved to Ravenna, where James was publisher and editor of the Portage County Democrat newspaper. They both also belonged to the First Congregational Church in Ravenna. James died at home in 1937. This is the last known knowledge I have for him, other than that he is buried in Woodland Cemetery in Cleveland, Ohio in the family plot of his wife. All this information given was from his obituary. James and Anna had no children. His wife, ANNA, apparently wrote her Last Will and Testament in 1956. After that, I have absolutely no other information on her. This is one elusive ancestor that I'm having difficulty finding anything on her. (Aaarrrgghhh!) What I have in my possession at this time is as follows: Death Certificate for JAMES B. SHERWOOD. Obituary of JAMES BROWNLEE SHERWOOD. History of Portage County, a small mention of JAMES B. SHERWOOD. >From one of the local papers dated 1937, an article that mentions that JAMES B. SHERWOOD wrote a small phamplet called "Ships That Pass in the Night." A copy of the Last Will and Testament of ANNA P. SHERWOOD. Anyones help at this point is most welcomed. I'm open for suggestions. Thank you in advance. Mitsu Roberts-Soria Oxnard, CA
