William Sh. Strong b 11 Nov 1826 Warren, Litchfield Co. Conn. and his wife Julia Ann Benedict lived in Ravenna at the time of the birth of their daughter Mary Ellen in 1853. They had 2 sons John and Charles. They had a son William D. in Oxford, Jones Co Ia in 1854. I don't know when they arrived or left Ravenna. I am seeking any information on their stay there.
