I am searching for descendants of this family listed below. If you are connected, I would love to hear from you. Elisha CARRIER, b. c. 1768, CT; d. August 1845, age 77 yrs; buried in Restland Cemetery, Brimfield. He married as his second wife, Lodemia SCOVILLE, in Goshen, Litchfield County, CT on 29 May 1813. Lodemia born circa 1799, in CT (probably Cornwall or Norfolk); d. 1873 in Brimfield (have been trying to locate her exact death date). This couple one child I am aware of, there may be others: Lucius CARRIER, b. 1820, prob. CT; d. 1842, age 22; m. Orilla EMERSON, on 10 February 1839, she b. 1811; d. 1862. They had the following children (?) 1. Joseph CARRIER, b. 24 November 1839, Brimfield; d. 30 September 1896; he married Mary M. EDSON on 13 June 1861 in Brimfield; Mary was b. 5 June 1836; d. 5 September 1899. Their children: Elmer Edson CARRIER, 24 October 1869;m. Jennie COON/KOON; 2. Edna CARRIER 2. Milton or John Milton CARRIER. Nothing more known. The above people (except Milton) are buried in the Restland Cemetery. I have the 1850 & 1860 census for Brimfield, as well as the marriage, cemetery, and pages from "Brimfield and It's People, Life in a Western Reserve Town," that mentions the Carriers, some of them were teachers. Are there any other sources I can check? Any chance of an obit for Lodemia? I am trying to prove her line as well as Elisha's. Any help appreciated. Jan in CT
