I would invite my great-great-grandfather, William Archer, who lived in Kent, Franklin Co., from at least 1830, maybe earlier until he died in 1860. His wives were Sarah and Lois. He is buried in Standing Rock Cemetery in Kent. I would ask him where he lived before coming to Portage Co. and who his parents were. I would ask him why his son George, my great-grandfather left there and went to live in Stark Co. before 1850. George married Jane Clark in Stark Co. All of William's other sons stayed in Kent or Franklin Co. and some are buried in Standing Rock Cem.
