    3. I have a Joseph Shepherd who migrated from NJ to PA to the Portage County area between 1800 and 1820. He had served in the NJ militia in the Revolutionary War and may have received land as a result. He had a wife and son after 1810. Her name was Sarah and the son was Ezekiel. They lived in the Portage and Trumbull Co areas long enough I suspect land ownership. Do you have any records of Joseph or family.
