    3. Jackie. Unfortunately this is not my John. My John came to Ohio directly from Massachusetts. Thank you so much for all the effort you put in. I just found out that there is an index to deeds of Portage, Medina and Stark Cos. 1795 - 1840, in the Summit Co. Recorders office. Guess that is my next step. You see, Portage Co covered much more territory in 1834 than today. Thanks again for your effort.
